Fall Tour / The Sea and Cake

We are very excited to announce a fall tour, where we will be heading to the northeast, south, and midwest. Also we extremely proud to announce that two of those dates are with The Sea and Cake. Detroit (Nov 4th) and New York (Nov 8th) will be graced with what we think is a killer line-up of Sea and Cake, Brokeback, and Us.
When the majority of the tour unfolds we will unveil it. In the meantime, TWEETS BITCH!
Serve Six Mice

We will be releasing an EP of Vices Remixes, entitled Serve Six Mice. The tracks were remixed by some of our favorite electronic artists, including Nitemoves, Matte Wood, Cullen Miller, Adaledge, and Jemexx. We are excited to share them with you, so stay tuned for more details.
By the way, We don’t use guitars

There has been a lot of speculation and questions on our newest record, Vices, about the use of a guitar. Well, although it may sound like it, we do not use guitars. Everything you hear on the album that may sound like a guitar is in fact a Rhodes, with tons of pedals all over it. This was a decision we made for Vices. For a more piano-centric album check out Deathless.
Moreover, we haven’t really said who we are and what we do… so here goes: Sami Jano plays a piano to his right and the rhodes to his left, Eric Adams plays bass, and Zach Eichenhorn plays drums.

We’re back in NYC after our first tour of 2011. Thanks to all the people we met who dug the music, put us up, or made our time on the road more enjoyable. Highlights include ping pong in Wilmington (NC), coney dogs and family times in Raleigh, water bugs in Richmond, indoor smoking in Greenville, trading scar stories in Harrisonburg. We shall definitely return soon, but in the meantime, here’s to you Southerners: May the thunder, the power and the glory be yours. Now and forever.
